GenderTalk – the leading radio program on issues of gender and transgenderism. Hosted and produced by transgender people, GenderTalk broadcasts locally out of the Boston, MA area on WMBR, 88.1 FM and has an online archive of over 180 programs.

Gender Trust – UKThis is the only Registered Charity in the United Kingdom which specifically helps adults who are Transsexual, Gender Dysphoric or Trangender i.e. those who seek to adjust their lives to live as women or men, or to come to terms with their situation despite their genetic background.

International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE) The IFGE is a non-profit advocacy organization founded in 1987. Its purpose is overcoming the intolerance of transvestitism and transsexualism brought about by widespread ignorance. Transgender Day of RemembranceThe Transgender Day of Remembrance was set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. The event is held in November to honor Rita Hester, whose murder in 1998 kicked off the “Remembering Our Dead” web project and a San Francisco candlelight vigil in 1999. Since then, the event has grown to encompass memorials in dozens of cities across the world.

Transsexual Roadmap – Probably the best guide book around for those that are transitioning or thinking about transitioning. Transsexual Road Map is a travel guide to set priorities and choose your route. It’s about making informed purchasing decisions and setting realistic, achievable transition goals.

Transsexual Women’s ResourcesThis web site is designed to empower transsexual women by providing factual information, informed opinion, and personal narrative. This site is maintained by Anne Lawrence, M.D., Ph.D.

Tri-ess (The Society For The Second Self) An international social and support group for heterosexual crossdressers, their partners, the spouses of married crossdressers, and their families.

American Boyz – A support and social group for people who were born female but who feel that is not a complete or accurate assessment of who they are (FTM’s) and our significant others, friends, families and allies (SOFFAS). Legal and Political

Human Rights Campaign (HRC)Founded in 1980, HRC is America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender civil rights organization. It provides a national voice on GLBT issues, effectively lobbies Congress, mobilizes grassroots action in diverse communities, invests strategically to elect a fair-minded Congress, and increases public understanding through innovative education and communication strategies. HRC is a bipartisan organization that works to advance equality based on sexual orientation, gender expression, and sexual/gender identity to ensure that GLBT Americans can be open, honest, and safe; at home, at work, and in the community.

National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) The NCTE is a national social justice organization devoted to ending discrimination and violence against transgender people through education and advocacy on national issues of importance to transgender people.

National Gay and Lesbian Task Force – The national progressive organization working for the civil rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. Transgender Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) The TLPI a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging in effective advocacy for transgender people in our society. The TLPI brings experts and advocates together to work on law and policy initiatives designed to advance transgender equality.
